Welcome Kaiden
Atlanta Untied 2 announced the signing of defender Kaiden Moore on July 26. The Academy product signed an MLS NEXT Pro deal through 2025 and will become an Atlanta United Homegrown on Jan. 1, 2026. Moore, 17, has logged 502 minutes across eight appearances, seven starts, with ATL UTD 2 this season after making his professional debut against Philadelphia Union II in April. Moore joined Atlanta United’s Academy in 2022 and was part of the U-16 Academy team which won the 2023 MLS NEXT Cup Championship. At the international level, he has been called into two domestic camps with the United States U-17 squad since last September.

Last Time Out
ATL UTD 2 kicked off its two-match road trip with a 2-1 loss on the road to Crown Legacy FC. After getting on the front foot and carving out two clear chances early in the contest, Atlanta conceded in the 22nd minute after Brandon Cambridge carried the ball down the touchline past two Atlanta defenders before he got off a pass to the back post that Dylan Sing finished off to take a 1-0 lead. In the 66th minute, Ethan Dudley tried to clear a ball sent into the box by Jahlane Forbes, but tangled up with Cambridge and conceded a penalty. Cambridge approached the spot and converted the penalty. Atlanta United midfielder Nick Firmino pulled one back for the visitors in the 74th minute after Cooper Sanchez picked out the Brazilian making a run, flicking a ball over the top of Crown Legacy's defense while Firmino muscled a defender off. Firmino met the ball in the box, taking on a second defender by cutting inside and ripping a left-footed shot that made its way in the back of the net.
