Supported by record-breaking crowds and renowned for its world-class matchday experience, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has become a premier destination for major soccer events. Its status was further solidified in 2024 when it was named a host venue for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and eight matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In September 2023, Blank further demonstrated his commitment to the sport’s growth by contributing $50 million to the U.S. Soccer Federation to build a National Training Center in the Atlanta area. The facility will serve as the Federation’s headquarters, creating a central hub for the entire soccer community, including coaches and referees, to access best-in-class training, technology, and infrastructure to promote successful and sustainable playing environments throughout the country. Recognizing his transformative impact, United Soccer Coaches honored Blank as the 2024 recipient of its Honorary All-American Award for contributions to the game of soccer and to the public good.
