On Wednesday night, Atlanta United got their seventh clean sheet of the season, and their second in two games so far at Mercedes-Benz Stadium debut. It was a historic night, with Atlanta becoming the first team in MLS history to hold a team without a single shot attempt. The record-breaking clean sheet means another $2,000 will be donated to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation for autism research. In partnership with Children’s, the club has now raised a total of $14,000 this season and will hope to add to that total as they continue the journey through their inaugural season.
