Atlanta United is lighting up MLS scoreboards once again in its second season, leading the league in goals through the All-Star week with 50 so far this year. With so many to choose from, it was hard to choose the best, but here the top 10 Atlanta United goals so far this season for Atlanta United:

10. Josef Martinez vs D.C. United

With Atlanta United down a goal, they need a moment of brilliance and they got it from Tito Villalba and Josef Martinez. Villalba whipped in a signature wicked cross from the right side and Josef Martinez showed incredible bravery to rise above D.C. United goalkeeper David Ousted to slam home the equalizer.

9. Ezequiel Barco vs Chicago Fire

An early injury for Ezequiel Barco made Atlanta United fans wait for his first competitive goal for the club, but it was worth it once it came. Miguel Almirón was crucial, pickpocketing the Chicago defender, bursting into space and taking out two Fire defenders with one pass. But Barco’s finish is not easy, even if he made it look that way, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper inside the near post with his left foot.

8. Kevin Kratz vs Montreal Impact

The biggest competition for Kevin’s masterful free kick against Montreal earlier this season maybe his second just minutes later. But this one took the lead, and was completely unstoppable into the top corner, really kicking off the legend that is Kevin Kratz’s free kicks.

7. Josef Martinez vs NYCFC

Atlanta United became the first team all season to take points away from Yankee Stadium this year, and that’s thanks in no small part this stunning finish. Julian Gressel’s inch-perfect cross is worthy of a spot on this list by itself, but Martinez’s thumping header off the turf and in showed just how clinical he is.

6. Miguel Almirón vs Orlando City

Miggy is known for his speed and technique, but it was his strength that was on full display in this stunning finish. Jonathan Spector tries to hold him back, but the Paraguayan shrugs him off beautifully and slams home a close-range finish.

5. Josef Martinez vs Chicago Fire

This goal is all about teamwork, but the passing will take your breath away. Just minutes after Barco scored the first of the match, Darlington Nagbe and Greg Garza time a passing move to perfection to get behind the Fire defense. Nagbe is incredibly unselfish, tapping it to Josef Martinez to slot home into the open net.

4. Kevin Kratz vs Montreal Impact

It’s not about the distance, although the free kick golazo came from an incredible range. It’s not just about the accuracy and power, though both were exceptional. It’s the fact that Kevin Kratz had just taken the lead with a stunning free kick minutes before, only to top himself with this stunner that left the goalkeeper rooted to his spot.

3. Ezequiel Barco vs Orlando City

First-time finishes don’t get much more unstoppable than this. A nice passing play sets Greg Garza loose down the left, whose cross finds Ezequiel Barco in the middle. The young Argentine had plenty left to do, but his outside-of-the-boot finish was unstoppable into the top corner.

2. Tito Villalba vs the Philadelphia Union

Atlanta United’s intricate, incisive passing play encapsulated in one moment on the pitch. It’s Miguel’s touch and burst into space that starts it, but Josef’s pass takes out the entire defense. Miggy could’ve been excused for shooting from there, but he had eyes in the back of his head, laying off an unbelievable pass for Tito to slot home.

1. Miguel Almirón vs D.C. United

Beautiful passing and an unstoppable top-corner blast. Miguel Almirón's stunning finishing versus D.C. United is Atlanta United at its very best.
