Atlanta United equinox, a full day of 5-Stripes soccer from the first team to the Academy

Atlanta United returns to action Saturday when the first team travels to face Nashville SC at Geodis Park.

The match is set to kick-off at 1:45 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, FOX and FOX Deportes, while fans can also tune-in to local radio calls on 92.9 The Game and La Mejor. But that's not the only match the club will have this Saturday as an Atlanta United equinox will occur.

Seven Atlanta United squads will take the pitch on Saturday, May 18 as a part of the Atlanta United Equinox. The day’s slate kicks off with Atlanta United’s U-17 squad facing off against Orlando City’s U-17s at 9 a.m. and can be streamed HERE. Atlanta United’s First Team will then take the pitch against Nashville SC at Geodis Park at 1:45 p.m. before Atlanta and Nashville’s Special Olympics Unified Teams face off following that match. Atlanta United will be hosting a live stream for the Unified match and can be found HERE. ATL UTD 2 will round things out against Huntsville at 8:00 p.m. ET. Atlanta United’s U-15s, U-14s and U-13s will also play during Saturday’s Equinox.

Academy: Atlanta United U-17 vs Orlando City U-17

it all begins early in the morning when the U-17 team of the Atlanta United Academy hosts Orlando City's U-17 squad at the Children's Healthcare Training Ground of Atlanta. The match will be broadcast on atlutd.com/live and all of our Academy social media platforms.

MLS Rivalry Week: Nashville SC vs Atlanta United

Atlanta United's first team will look to right the ship against Nashville as they fight through this tough stretch of play, now winless in their last seven MLS matches. They are coming off a 1-0 loss against Eastern Conference opponent FC Cincinnati. The sole win the 5-Stripes have acquired since late March came against USL League One team Charlotte Independence to move onto to the . Nashville SC has gone through struggles of their own so far this season. They have two wins in their last five matches, bringing their total record on the season to 3-4-5.

Special Olympics Unified Team: Nashville SC vs Atlanta United

Following the MLS match at GEODIS Park, both Unified Teams from Nashville SC and Atlanta United will take the pitch for an 11v11 match, with two 20-minute halves, for their first match of the Unified season. The Atlanta United Unified Team is a team of athletes, with intellectual disabilities, and partners, without intellectual disabilities, coming together to play soccer in an inclusive manner. The Unified Team will play against other MLS Unified teams throughout the year. Last year, the Atlanta United Unified team went 2-0-1 against Charlotte FC Unified, New York Red Bull Unified, and FC Dallas Unified. This season they will travel to Nashville and Los Angeles (August 24), then host Nashville (September 14).

Atlanta United 2 kicks off a back-to-back road trip this Saturday, May 18 as the club travels to take on division rivals Huntsville City FC at Joe Davis Stadium. The contest is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. and will be streamed on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, while fans can also tune in to the Soccer Down Here audio stream.
