Pedro Amador was a late scratch from Atlanta United's starting XI Saturday against New York City FC.
In his place, Dominik Chong Qui will make the start.
It's the first career MLS start for Chong Qui. At 17 years old, he is the second-youngest player to ever start an MLS match for Atlanta United.
Atlanta United called up on Chong Qui a short-term agreement this week. The defender made his debut a few weeks ago in Atlanta's match at Charlotte FC, becoming the third-youngest player in club history to make an MLS appearance.
Chong Qui is a player for Atlanta United 2 who has integrated with the first team in 2025. He joined the group in preseason, seeing action in the club friendlies. So far this season, he's been called up to the first team four times. This is his fourth and final short-term agreement of the season.
