With the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup coming to an end this Sunday, August 20, when Spain and England square off at Stadium Australia in Sydney, we've teamed up with Kitboys Club to honor the women who have persevered in the tournament.

Kitboys Clubs have created an upcycled capsule paying homage to the nations that overcame immense obstacles to play in the 2023 World Cup and celebrate the groundbreaking achievements these countries achieved in the competition. Recognizing that these same nationalities make up our team and our city, we are paying homage to the perseverance shown by these strong ladies to deliver inspiring performances to women all over the world.

This unique capsule launched Saturday, August 19 on Kitboys Club's Instagram account. The capsule will be raffled on Kitboys Club's account and the winners will be announced next Wednesday, August 23rd.

Thos who would like to participate in the raffle, have to do the following:

Kitboys Club and Atlanta United want to celebrate and honore the women’s teams who overcame tremendous obstacles to play in this year’s World Cup, and make up part of our city. There are so many teams that created history for the first time, broke records, and had groundbreaking achievements in this year’s World Cup.

Recognizing that these same nationalities make up our team and our city, we are paying homage to the perseverance shown by these strong ladies to deliver inspiring performances to women all over the world. Teams featured in the capsule are Jamaica, Nigeria, Argentina, Colombia, and the US.

Colombia was the country who advanced further in the competition, reaching the Quarterfinals for the very first time in their history, a feat achieved also by the men's national team once in 2014. Colombia beat Jamaica in the Round of 16 who also achieved their best result in the history of the tournament by eliminating favorites Brazil in the group stage.

Nigeria and the US also were knocked out of the competition in the Round of 16, while Argentina were not able to advance past the group stage.
