Atlanta United today announced that forward Emmanuel Latte Lath has entered concussion protocol. He'll be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
This comes after the forward took a knock during the club's most recent match, a scoreless draw with New York Red Bulls on Saturday, March 8. Latte Lath started the match and was subbed off in the 68th minute.
Latte Lath is Atlanta's leading goal scorer on the season after three matches.
While it's unclear at this point whether he'll be available for the club's next match, a big one at home against Inter Miami CF, the team has an extra day this week for recovery. The meeting against Miami will be the featured matchup of Sunday Night Soccer.
We'll know more about Latte Lath's status when head coach Ronny Deila speaks to the media later this week.
