ATL UTD 2 hosts Bethlehem Steel FC for the team’s home finale of the 2019 season. Both sides played to a 1-1 draw earlier this year on May 12 at Talen Energy Stadium. Laurence Wyke scored his first professional goal in the first half while Jamoi Topey equalized for Bethlehem in the second half. Both teams present a 1-1-1 record after three all-time meetings. This marks Steel FC’s second trip to Georgia as ATL UTD 2 won 2-1 last season July 11 at Coolray Field.

Aaron Maund put the Independence up 1-0 in the sixth minute, but Faris Pemi Moumbagna scored a penalty in the 14th minute to level the score. Charlotte’s Alex Martinez was shown a straight red card in the 31st minute for violent conduct and forced the visitors to play the remainder of the match down a man. However, Hugh Roberts headed in a free kick in the 67th minute to give the Independence the win.
