ATL UTD 2 defeated Ottawa Fury FC 3-2 in its last outing on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Andrew Carleton scored a brace, including the fastest goal in team history just 17 seconds into the match and the game-winner. Patrick Okonkwo also scored his first goal with ATL UTD 2.
Tampa Bay Rowdies topped Charlotte Independence 3-1 on Saturday at the Sportsplex at Matthews behind a brace from Juan Tejada and a third goal from Jaime Siaj. Tampa Bay is 7-3-4 at home and currently sits in second place in the eastern conference, one point behind leaders New York Red Bulls II.
