Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 8 when it faces Penn FC at FNB Field. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ATL UTD 2 travels to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to take on Penn FC in its lone visit to FNB Field this season. This is the second meeting between the two teams, as both sides played to a 1-1 draw back on April 8 at Coolray Field. Tommy Heinemann gave Penn the lead in the 31st minute, but Jon Gallagher headed in the equalizer in the 63rd minute from a cross by Lagos Kunga.

Last weekend, Atlanta beat Toronto FC II 2-1 at Lamport Stadium to pick up its first road win of the season. Kunga scored a brace to lift ATL UTD 2, and his second goal came with a man-down after Tyler Ruthven was issued a red card during first half stoppage time. Ruthven’s red card was successfully appealed by Atlanta and the defender is available for this weekend’s match.

After conceding a goal in the 10th minute, Penn FC stormed back to defeat Bethlehem Steel 3-1 on Sunday, Sept. 2 at Goodman Stadium. Aaron Dennis, Lucky Mkosana and Paulo Junior each scored for Penn to earn its fourth road win of the season. Entering this weekend, Penn FC is six points behind the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Atlanta will play two consecutive road matches before finishing the 2018 USL season with seven-straight at Coolray Field.
