The Five Stripes have done it again.
Miguel Almirón has been named in the MLS Team of the Week by league writers for his stellar performance against the LA Galaxy. It's the fourth straight week the red, black and gold has been featured in the weekly honor, and the second week in a row for the Paraguayan midfielder.
The electric #10, who's also been named to the MLS Team of the Week bench twice this year, was dominant against the Galaxy in Los Angeles. On top of his game-icing penalty goal, Almirón drew a penalty earlier in the match, created five key passes on 81% passing accuracy and added six defensive recoveries on the other side of the ball. It was just the kind of all-around performance that has set Miggy apart from the rest of MLS since he joined the league.
