The Wharf

If you are looking for something for the whole family to enjoy, the Wharf is the perfect place. As a waterfront city and destination, it is home to many restaurants and shops. The Smithsonian Museum of African American History & Culture

Atlanta United’s match against D.C. United also coincides with Juneteenth. What better place to celebrate the holiday than learning about the rich and interesting history of African American culture in this country. Opened to the public in 2016, it is the 19^th museum in of the Smithsonian Institution. It has over 40,000 artifacts. The museum is currently honoring Juneteenth.

The Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute (NZCBI) plays a leading role in global efforts to save wildlife species from extinction and train future generations of conservationists. Guests can view more than 2,200 – that sit on 163 acres.

Georgetown is a historical district located in Potamac. The primary commercial corridors contains high-end shops, bars, restaurants, and Georgetown Park - an enclosed shopping mall. While in the area, you can go on the Potamic River, tour the gorgeous Tudor Place, and explore the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks.
