Acquired: Traded to Atlanta United from Orlando City on Dec. 11, 2016 in exchange for a fourth roundpick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
Harrison Heath joins Atlanta United after spending the previous three seasons with Orlando City, first joining the club on July 17, 2014 when the Lions were in USL. Heath has six career appearances in MLS with five starts. He made his Major League Soccer debut in 2015. Born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, England, Heath spent his youth career with the Houston Dynamo and Norwich City before signing with Orlando. He is the son of Minnesota United head coach Adrian Heath.
2016 (Orlando City, MLS): Heath began the year with the first team before being loaned to USL affiliate Orlando City B. Overall, he played in three MLS matches and 12 USL matches, registering one goal for Orlando City B. He spent much of the season training with the first team, but frequently was sent on loan with Orlando’s B team to get playing time. In addition to his three matches in MLS, he started a fourth round U.S. Open Cup game against Jacksonville Armada (June 16).
2015 (Orlando City SC, MLS): Heath made his Major League Soccer debut against D.C. United on May 14 and played the full 90 minutes. He saw time in three league games, two starts, and was included in the squad on 17 occasions. Heath also played in two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup games.
2014 (Orlando City SC, USL): After signing with USL side Orlando City SC, Heath started his first game against Harrisburg City on Aug. 17, playing 61 minutes. He played in one more league game against Dutch Lions FC (Sept. 1) as a substitute and appeared in a playoff game against Harrisburg City (Sept. 14) for his second start with the club.
2012/2013 (Norwich City U23): Heath appeared in three matches in the U21 Premier League Qualifications and scored one goal against Newcastle U23 (April 29).
