Caraux, 26, joins ATL UTD 2 from French club FC Versailles 78. The 6-3 goalkeeper has played professionally in France with Versailles, Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt (ACBB), and Lens II. Caraux also played with Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship and League One.
2017/18 (FC Versailles 78): Caraux made two starts with Versailles in the Championnat National 3.
2016/17 (ACBB): In the Championnat National 2, Caraux made nine starts and posted two clean sheets.
2014/15 (Greenock Morton): Following Morton’s relegation to League One, Caraux started one match in a 3-1 loss to Brechin City (Oct. 4). He made two starts in League Cup play and two more starts in the Challenge Cup.
2013/14 (Greenock Morton): Caraux made 20 appearances and 19 starts during Morton’s Championship League play. He recorded three clean sheets. He debuted with Morton during the Challenge Cup in a 1-0 loss to Annan Athletic (July 27). Caraux also made one start in the FA Cup against Inverness CT (Nov. 30) in a 4-0 loss, and three starts during League Cup action where he posted a clean sheet in two matches.
2011/12 (Lens II): Caraux started 25 matches.
2010/11 (Lens II): Caraux made four starts at the Championnat National 2 level in his first professional season. He made his debut April 3 against Lille II in a 1-1 draw.
