Atlanta United today announced that midfielder Chris Goslin and defender Miles Robinson will join Charleston Battery for the week along with goalkeeper Alex Tambakis, who will re-join the USL club.
Each player will be available for Charleston’s match on Thursday, May 25 against Bethlehem Steel and Sunday, May 28 against New York Red Bulls II. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, Atlanta United retains the right to recall the player at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines, and in this case, each player will return to Atlanta United first team training following the match on Sunday.
Both Goslin and Robinson could make their regular season professional debuts with an appearance for Charleston. Tambakis spent the 2016 season on loan with the Battery where he started 21 games for the USL side, including a pair of playoff games. He was eighth in the league with 70 saves and fifth in save percentage (.778). He has started four matches for Charleston this season and recorded a clean sheet against Charlotte Independence on April 2.
