Thiago Almada was selected to the Argentina men's national team for this year's tournament. He's the first active member of Atlanta United to represent his country at a World Cup™.
Gonzalo Pineda was selected to the Mexico men's national team for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ roster. He appeared in all four of Mexico’s matches and started three.
Carlos Bocanegra was selected to the U.S. Men’s National Team for each of the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups™. He appeared in six total matches.
