Atlanta United 2 today announced that it has signed Academy defender Kaiden Moore through the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season. Moore will become Atlanta’s 22nd Homegrown signing effective Jan. 1, 2026.

“Kaiden is yet another great example of the club’s player development pathway and the strong link between the Academy and our First Team that we’re continuing to build” said Director of Methodology Javier Perez. “Kaiden has shown great promise during his time with our Academy squads and already has professional experience after making his Atlanta United 2 debut earlier this season. We are thrilled to have him continue to grow his career with Atlanta United.”

Moore, 17, has logged 502 minutes across eight appearances, seven starts, with ATL UTD 2 this season after making his professional debut against Philadelphia Union II in April. Moore joined Atlanta United’s Academy in 2022 and was part of the U-16 Academy team which won the 2023 MLS NEXT Cup Championship. At the international level, he has been called into two domestic camps with the United States U-17 squad since last September.
