Atlanta United's preseason tour makes its next stop as the squad takes a trip on I-20 to Birmingham, Ala. for a friendly against Birmingham Legion FC. The match, set for a 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff Saturday Feb. 1, will be the second of six total preseason matches for the 5-Stripes. All of those games build up to a rematch of the epic 2024 MLS Audi Cup Playoffs Wild Card game shootout with CF Montréal on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Getting fit is the name of the game for Atlanta United. Another 90 minutes will give head coach Ronny Deila the opportunity to dish out playing time to many of his crew, offseason additions and veterans alike.
