ATL UTD 2 travels to take on Charleston Battery on Saturday night. With a victory, Atlanta could move into a tie for second place in the Group H standings. Goalkeeper Ben Lundgaard produced five saves in the team’s last match, bringing his total to 27 which leads USL Championship heading into the weekend.
Charleston’s last match was a 1-1 draw against Charlotte Independence. Zeiko Lewis continues to lead the team with two goals and 13 chances created. Romario Piggott has taken the most shots on the team with 14 heading into Saturday’s contest.
Saturday’s match is the fourth and final matchup between the two sides this season. The Battery hold a 2-0-1 record in the series this year. In the last match, Amadou Macky Diop gave ATL UTD 2 the lead, but Charleston equalized in stoppage time for the 1-1 draw.
