ATL UTD 2 hosts Louisville City Sunday in Kennesaw as it looks to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Birmingham last weekend. Atlanta is facing Louisville for the second time this season and the seventh time overall in team history. In the last matchup between the two clubs for the season-opener on April 24, Louisville netted two goals in the second half to secure the 2-0 win against Atlanta. This Sunday, Jack Collison will be making his managerial debut for Atlanta and is looking for its first win against Louisville.
Louisville is also eyeing a return to the win column in Sunday’s matchup. Most recently, Louisville City lost 2-1 to Indy Eleven on Saturday, May 29. Although Louisville had a one-goal lead going into the second half, Indy converted two penalties to steal three points on the road.
This is the second of four meetings between the two clubs this season.
