ATL UTD 2’s last outing against Charleston Battery on Friday, July 5 was abandoned in the 11th minute due to inclement weather. The match was rescheduled for Sept. 18 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium and will be replayed in its entirety from the opening kickoff.
New York welcomes Atlanta after edging Bethlehem Steel 4-3 in a midweek clash on Wednesday, July 10. Red Bulls II trailed 3-1 in the second half when Jared Stroud and Tom Barlow led a late comeback that saw New York score three goals in the final 15 minutes to take all three points on the road. Barlow and Stroud each scored a brace as Red Bulls II reached third place in the Eastern Conference heading into this Saturday’s match.
