Saturday marks the third meeting all-time between Atlanta and Pittsburgh. The Riverhounds defeated ATL UTD 2 at Highmark Stadium 1-0 in the first match (4/28/18) and both sides tied 1-1 in the return match at Coolray Field (10/10/18).
Pittsburgh is 1-2-3 on the road this season and has not won in its last six outings. Riverhounds SC tied Ottawa Fury 2-2 last Saturday, June 8. The team’s two leading scorers Kevin Kerr and Neco Brett each tallied a goal to put Pittsburgh ahead 2-0, but Fury FC responded with two goals in quick succession with a penalty by Wal Fall in the 66th and a long-range strike from Aidan Daniels in the 69th minute.
