An 18-year-old defender currently in Atlanta United’s Academy system, Edwards made his professional debut with ATL UTD 2 April 8 against Penn FC.
2018 (ATL UTD 2): Edwards made four starts.
2017-18 (Atlanta United Academy): Edwards has made 18 appearances, 17 starts, for the U-17s. He also has eight appearances and six starts for the U-19 squad.
2017-17 (Atlanta United Academy): Appeared in 25 matches and made 22 starts with the U-16 team.
INTERNATIONAL: Edwards has played for both the U.S. and Jamaican Youth National Teams. He was called into a U.S. U-17 training camp in 2016, and represented the Jamaican U-17 squad for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Qualifiers and Championship. In the group stage against the U.S., Edwards faced fellow Atlanta United products Andrew Carleton, Chris Goslin and Justin Garces.
